Integrated presence sensors track crowd density in each area, allowing the system to suggest alternative routes or display real-time occupancy to balance foot traffic and enhance comfort.

 Personalized Content in Restaurants, Shops, and Lounges

From breakfast menus to wine tastings, Voome helped promote dining and leisure activities with time-based, location-specific content. Stretch displays near shelves provided real-time pricing and details synced from the PIM system. And for monetization, screens supported programmatic advertising platforms like Hivestack and Pladway, while also offering the cruise line its own internal branded ad channel.

Safety, Streaming, and Live Alerts

In case of emergency or important announcements, Voome instantly overrode scheduled content to broadcast evacuation instructions or urgent updates in multiple languages—fully integrated with the ship’s safety systems. On a lighter note, it also supported live streaming of shows, port excursion guides, and daily highlights.

The Infrastructure: Why Hybrid Matters at Sea

In case of an alert (e.g., fire, weather, or medical emergency), Voome instantly overrides regular content to display evacuation routes and safety instructions—tailored to each zone. The system integrates with the ship’s emergency protocols for real-time responsiveness.

 

Inform, Update and Engage Passengers

Upon boarding or entering a new day, screens show dynamic welcome messages, weather updates, daily itineraries, and port info—fully customized by deck or location to ensure relevance and clarity.

Let shoppers take control. By scanning a QR code, they can browse collections, watch videos, or view recommendations directly on the in-store screen—personalizing the experience on the spot.

Guests can watch live performances, captain announcements, or daily recaps directly on digital displays throughout the ship—keeping them informed and entertained, even from their lounge chairs or cabins.

Voome detects the area or guest profile and automatically displays information in multiple languages—ensuring all nationalities receive clear updates, schedules, or service info without needing printed materials.

Get Guests Where They Need to Be

Before each show or activity, directional screens activate with real-time arrows guiding guests to the correct theater, lounge, or meeting room. They adjust based on crowd flow and nearest routes—reducing congestion and late arrivals.

Screens near high-traffic areas notify guests of upcoming events, start times, and remaining capacity—encouraging them to head over early or choose another time slot if needed.

 

Touch-enabled kiosks let guests search for activities, restaurants, or cabins. They can then follow a personalized route displayed on-screen or send directions to their phone via QR code for a smooth, self-guided journey.
